What to wear for the run

  • Whatever you wear, stay cool and dry.
  • Avoid baggy cotton clothing as it can chafe the skin .
  • Wear synthetic clothes. Hi-tech fabrics can be expensive but worth it. These are clothes made of light, stretchy, quick drying fabrics that pull away the moisture away from the skin surface
  • Don’t overdress.
  • Wear t-shirts or vest and shorts made of breathable wicking material.
  • Women should wear a good quality sports bra.
  • Wear a double layer of running socks to prevent blisters.
  • A cap with a visor and sport sunglasses can be worn if it is too sunny.
